Sidral Mundet

The Mexican Way

Explore this project ↓

This project is a documentary style commercial filmed for the iconic mexican apple soda Sidral Mundet.

It was filmed across the country with true locals and in real locations, with very little intervention in art direction. Most of the shown places are the actual homes of the people we see in the commercial.

This project features famous chef Carmen Miranda cooking tamales with her family, Julio Corro and his lineage of traditional musicians from Veracruz, the explosive Oaxacan band La China Sonidera, and latin american migrants hanging out at the wall in Tijuana. I even cast some of my non-actor friends to appear in the piece!
